We haven't worked out the color palette or invitation design for our wedding invitations yet but our friends have already started sending gifts. Should I order cards now to get a headstart on thank you notes or wait for my invitation suite to be completed?
Definitely order some plain thank you notes and get a head start on writing back to guests. It's nice to send a thank you note as soon as you can after the gift has been delivered and you run the risk of forgetting about sending a note if you wait too long.
Just order something simple in your style that you can use long after the wedding. Tiny Pine Press makes some beautiful letterpress thank you notes on recycled paper that are simply elegant. Remember, no Mr. and Mrs. or shared monograms until AFTER the wedding ceremony.
