An Engagement Party

So much fun to throw an engagement party for Caroline & Dixon. We wanted to create a modern New York loft feeling for this East Coast couple in San Francisco. Black and white in an exposed brick loft fit the bill and a collection of black and white vintage cake toppers welcomed guests to the party.

I loved all the vintage details including the school house chairs and antique salt and pepper shakers.

A chalkboard backdrop made for a fun spot for photos and guests drank Greyhounds with a matching chalkboard marker.

As an ice breaker we had two games. One where guests guessed the variety, country, region and year of secret bottles of wine and one where guests pinned their name on a board for the year they met the Bride and Groom.

Special dates on the board included the day the bride and groom met and the day they were engaged!
After a few champagne toasts, guests enjoyed dessert. A stacked Oreo cake with ice cold milk. Yum!
