Back from a whirlwind trip to New Orleans for a clients wedding on the Northshore. The rehearsal dinner was Tuscan themed with rustic wood tables and cafe lights and the most divine food from Domenica. The wedding was out of this world with famous New Orleans musicians (Jeremy Davenport and Rockin Dopsie & the Zydeco Twisters), incredible NOLA cuisine from Restaurant August (think shrimp & grits, gumbo and duck foie gras) all at a pretty incredible plantation home on the Bayou owned by Chef John Besh! I can't wait to share pictures!
For now though I've got some great shots taken by Molly Watson of an event I co-hosted at AQ in SOMA. I've blogged about AQ before, I'm kind of obsessed with the food, the ambiance and the concept (the entire restaurant changes with the seasons from the menus to the decor to the servers uniforms!). I wanted to help introduce my friend Matt and the restaurant to the events community here in SF because they have a pretty incredible events space.
